HandsApp is a modern and innovative tablet application that allows the Deaf and Hard of Hearing visitor to navigate in your space without the physical presence of a tour guide and Sign Language interpreter. Essentially, the visitor with a hearing problem can, through the special application, choose the videos he wants to watch from the tablet, which he received upon entering the venue, and be informed-guided in Sign Language by the Professional Interpreter who appears in the videos or through subtitles. Professional, certified tour guides who, either at the archaeological-exhibition site or by collaborating with certified tour guides of HandsUp, manage the routes and offer unique tours at your place.

The Application is also available in International Languages and English subtitles with the aim of serving Deaf and Hard of Hearing people worldwide.

With the guided tour, the following is achieved:
a) The Deaf or Hard of Hearing visitor can visit the Museum or the exhibition independently at any time, without the need to join a large group and without an appointment.
b) The cost of the visit is reduced, as there is no need for the physical presence of two employees – a Tour Guide and a Sign Language Interpreter.
c) The museum or exhibition provides accessibility services that comply with European standards and protocols.
d) The clientele and the number of visitors expands, since now the museum or the exhibition provides accessibility services.
